Is Kids Circle an After School Care?
Our proposition is different from regular after-school care. We do not offer "just care", we offer different and structured extracurricular classes taught by specialised teachers, giving your child the opportunity to discover new passions, explore new activities, develop new skills, build confidence and make new friends with similar interests.
What is in it for the Kids:
We offer opportunities for children to be exposed to and involved in different extracurricular classes to broaden their abilities and interests.
We cater classes and activities for different age groups (5-8 and 9-12 years old).
What is in it for the parents:
Parents have the opportunity to claim their weekends back!. We give your child the opportunity to attend extracurricular classes during the week so you can spend your weekends relaxing and enjoying quality time with your family.
If you need extra time at work, we offer optional extended hours until 6:30 pm (at an extra cost)
Do we have a FREE trial?
Yes, we offer free trials for most of our classes but school pick-up is not included in the trial.
To give your child the opportunity to try a class before committing to the rest of the term, we offer an obligation-free trial class.
Young Engineers and Robotic sessions are not available for free trials.
Promotions and offers are subject to change at any time without notice, from time to time at our sole discretion.
How to enrol?
Easy! Just contact us and we will send you an enrolment form to fill up.
How do I pay my fees?
Fees are paid online after receiving an invoice from us. Please contact our centre to obtain the necessary forms and information.
• Fees are calculated and invoiced by term. All fees for the current term must be paid by the end of that term or the following term bookings will not be guaranteed.
• Sick days and personal/public holidays that fall on my child’s enrolled day must be paid for. No make-up class available.
Do we have to book for the full week? Do we have to book the whole term?
Kids Circle operates from Monday to Thursday and does not require a minimum weekly booking, however, a full term booking is required to enrol your child at our centre.
I don't need Kids Circle to pick-up my child from school, can I enrol my child for the classes only?
Absolutely, most classes start at 4 pm and finish by 5 pm. You can drop your child off for the class and come to collect him/her later. You will be charged for the class only.
What is your cancellation/changes policy?
If parents wish to cancel enrolment at Kids Circle during school term, they are required to provide TWO (2 ) WEEKS notice in writing by no later than the third week of the term in order to have fees waived. Failure to do so will result in full fees being charged for the term or bond withheld.
Enrolment fees are non-refundable non-transferable.
Families can place their session on hold for the duration of the term. To place a session on hold for a full term, parents must apply by the end of week 5 of the previous term for administration and processing. This will allow the Director to offer this temporary term spot to families on the waitlist.
Special offers to new students are only applicable for a full term enrolment. New students canceling enrolment before the end of their first term will be charged for all the days/weeks they have attended our services plus weeks' notice.
Do you offer government rebates?
There are no government rebates with our service as Kids Circle is not an after-school care service.
Our centre offers different extracurricular classes every day to give children the opportunity to try a variety of activities, making their after-school time enjoyable and inspiring, rather than just being “supervised” like most after-school care centres. Think of it like this, we offer you and your children the option of having great and enriching activities during the week facilitated by teachers and specialists in their fields, saving yourself time driving kids around to classes on weekends.
Can I use my NSW Creative Kids and Active Kids vouchers with you?
Yes, you can claim the vouchers through us.
What time does Kids Circle close?
Parents should pick up children by no later than 6:30 pm.
How do you transport the children from the school to the centre?
Children are transported by car, mini-bus or bus from their school to our centre. Kids Circle employs additional staff to ensure the safety of all children during these transition times.
What is the ratio of adults to students? How big are the groups?
Kids Circle has a staff ratio of 1 adult for every 15 children. The daily class/session has a maximum of twenty students per class.
How do you divide the classes by age groups?
Kids Circle has tailored the program to suit kids from 5-10 years old, divided into groups of 5-7 years old and 8-10 years old.
